From Cutting to Final Pattern

I always prefer to take my own photos as inspiration for my work, not only can I photograph the item from lots of different angles, I can photograph it at different stages in it’s life cycle, and get macro images for all those little details.

Here is a cutting I took from our Lilac Tree in our cottage garden, from photographing it under studio lighting, to making a sketch, to the final seamless repeating pattern.

This design is available to purchase in a wide variety of products, from fabric to wallpaper. Alternatively if you’re looking to license or for a full buy out of this design please get in touch.
