The Great British Sewing Bee is back!

It seems like we’ve waited such a long time for the new series  of GBSB to start, I’m looking forward to getting to know this years contestants and seeing what challenges the show dishes out. I feel like the challenges get harder and harder each year, and I have no idea how they sew, so quickly and neatly, I’m a VERY slow sewist.

I’ve been working on my Surface Pattern Designs, aka designing fabric, and of course what better time than now to promote my ‘Sewing Is My Super Power’ design. I’d love to see my fabric on The Great British Sewing Bee one year, and see what the bee’s make with it!

Inspired by the joy that sewing brings me, and my love of a sewing gadget, this design features a strong independent sewist surrounded by sewing tools and notions.

I’d love to get this design printed as wallpaper (If I ever have a dedicated sewing space!) it would look amazing in a sewing room or sewing studio.
