The Stitch Festival

Earlier in the year I visited The Stitch Festival for the first time. I’ve visited The Knitting And Stitching shows for many years, and was intrigued to see what this one was like, and it didn’t disappoint! Liberty and Patrick Grant!!! My day was made. He even signed my book.

I went with the intention of not buying anything, and had gone to see Kaye and Alice on their stand for the eTelestia tool, but ended up coming away with some Liberty fabric, and of course a Tilly And The Buttons sewing pattern. There were so many stands and I could have spent a fortune there, but I was quite restrained. Anyone who sews knows that it’s VERY hard to resist new fabric.

It’s so nice to see some familiar faces, alongside some new ones, it’s definitely on my list to go back to next year.
